Spanish Air (2018)
"Follow the music that touches your heart"...
This is a maxim I have tried to live by my entire musical life.
The selections on this recording portray my inclination towards music from the South of Europe, music which fills my heart and has deeply influenced the music of my home country, Costa Rica.
I have chosen a repertoire which aligns with my musical identity. These selections can appeal to a broad audience as well as to the trumpet aficionado.
Spanish Air is a journey through a life of songs and dances(coffee and tapas) which warms the heart and soothes the soul.
To my mother, my family, my wife, my country and its motherland....
